Ultimate Insanity Sauce By: Dave's Gourmet
Following the success of Dave’s Insanity Sauce - the original “Hottest Sauce in the Universe” - Dave’s Gourmet set out to make a sauce that was even hotter.
Fruity, smoky Red Savina habanero peppers (officially recognized as the world’s hottest pepper until the first “superhots” arrived on the scene) were added to the recipe, while the amount of pepper extract was increased… and the result was Dave’s Ultimate Insanity Hot Sauce; a sauce that manages to offer a more extreme heat experience and a more intense flavor experience than the original Insanity Sauce.
The searing heat is still front and center thanks to the extract, but the fruity flavor of the Red Savina habaneros is allowed to shine through, backed by savory tomatoes, onions, and a medley of citrusy, savory, and smoky notes from the other red chiles. Hints of garlic and other spices make their presence known before being overpowered by the heat and flavor of the peppers and extract.
Use Dave’s Ultimate Insanity Hot Sauce one drop at a time to spice up a pot of chili or a batch of hot wings… also pairs well with meatloaf, pizza, macaroni and cheese (or any cheesy pasta dish), tacos, creamy salad dressings and dips, and both Thai and Vietnamese cuisine.
