TryMe Tiger Sauce is a mild cayenne-based hot sauce, enhanced with tamarind, sugar, and a blend of exotic spices for a unique “sweet and sour” flair.
The heat level is very mild for a cayenne pepper sauce (mainly because of the sweetness); however, the bright, fruity, and savory flavor is immediately recognizable as cayenne, with more chiles and crushed red pepper flakes providing texture and a bit of extra heat.
Tamarind shares the spotlight with the cayenne peppers; its tangy flavor is enhanced by the acidity of the vinegar, with a slightly sour edge that provides a perfect counterpoint to the sweetened pepper base.
Garlic, cumin, and oregano round out the sauce’s flavor profile, along with a hint of anchovy. While the taste of the anchovy is subtle, its salty, savory undertones complement the spices and add depth of flavor.
