Introducing the newest addition to the TABASCO® brand pepper sauce lineup: Sriracha!
Tabasco puts their own unique spin on the iconic Thai-inspired chile sauce by adding a dash of their classic “Original Red” pepper sauce to the base of fermented red chiles, sugar, salt, garlic, and vinegar.
The aged Tabasco peppers provide additional heat as well as a smoky, savory note that enhances the flavor of the sun-ripened chile blend.
Fruity, spicy, and very savory, the red chiles offer a balance of “fresh” and “fermented” aromas and flavors, with a rich umami undertone from the garlic. The vinegar’s acidity makes its presence known without overwhelming the peppers, adding a burst of bright, tangy acidity while amplifying the sauce’s heat.
Although there is some sugar added to accent the red chiles’ natural sweetness, this is a very savory style of Sriracha, with a slightly more prominent vinegar note and a bit more heat than you might expect. The salt and vinegar both help to provide balance, keeping the focus on the blend of peppers and garlic.
Combining Sriracha’s classic peppery, garlicky notes with just the right amounts of vinegar, sugar, and salt - along with the distinctive flavor and heat of Tabasco’s Original Red - this versatile pepper sauce pairs well with anything and everything.
Try it with pizza, tacos, wings, burgers, fried fish, shrimp and other seafood dishes, noodle dishes, vegetable stir-fries, scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes, sandwiches, or soups and stews. Also great for spicing up sauces, dressings, and dips.
